Kevork is considered as a famous fashion designer and tailor,
who was the first to probe the Armenian historical dresses and has
created a special style, combining the ancient with the modern.
His style is distinguished for using the raw white silk and treats
it by coloring, painting and collage works, to make evening dresses.
Born in 1974, He began drawing at a very young age. He inherited
the talent of tailoring from his father as he was men's costume
tailor.
In 1997 he graduated from the "College Artistique de la Mode Moderne"
institute in Lebanon as a designer and tailor. Then he worked with
famous Lebanese fashion designers.
In 2004 he graduated from the "Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts "
with an honor Degree to get qualified in Decorative Design of Textile
Manufacture, where he was specialized in the history of the Armenian
costumes and ornaments.
His brand name is SHADOYAN FASHION. This well known brand includes
Haute Couture and Prêt à Porter costumes, casual dresses, T-shirts,
shoes, bags, accessories, necklaces, earrings and souvenirs.
Meanwhile Kevork has gone deep into the abstract art, he was a volunteer
art teacher in ''Karen Jeppe Armenian College", at the same time,
he led and organized several art exhibitions for his students. His
paintings are a mixture of collage and modern art, decorated by
Armenian motifs.
Kevork is pursuing his challenges by going back to the roots, researching
deeply to explore novelty and create his special style with distinguished
touches.
His costumes are being worn by the most famous artists in Armenia
(music bands, dancers, announcers, top models, Miss Armenia).
